Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a renowned Cardio-Vascular surgeon, highly respected for his expertise in a wide range of advanced procedures. His specialties include Beating Heart Bypass Surgery, Valve Repairs and Replacements (single, double, and triple), Aortic Aneurysm Surgery (including Endovascular Repairs), and complex vascular procedures involving the Aorta, Carotid Arteries, and lower limb vessels.
Dr. Srivastava gained national recognition for successfully performing a bypass surgery on a 96-year-old patient, making it one of the oldest reported cases of this surgery. With over 10,000 successful surgeries to his name, his experience is vast and distinguished.
He trained in Cardio-Vascular Surgery at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he completed his M.Ch in CTVS in 1994. He then served as an Assistant Professor at AIIMS until September 1998. During his time there, Dr. Srivastava played a key role in the Heart Transplant and Ventricular Assist Device Program, where he was responsible for donor management. He assisted in performing the first heart transplant in India, along with the subsequent 10 transplants.
Dr. Srivastava's comprehensive training and experience at AIIMS also make him highly skilled in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
