Dr. Sumit Narang completed his MBBS from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, in the year 1998. Later, he obtained his MS from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi in 2001. Dr. Sumit was awarded M. Ch from GB Pant Hospital, Delhi in the year 2004. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience in Cardiac and thoracic surgery. He was associated with various reputed hospitals such as Escorts Heart Institute Okhla, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. He is currently at Sarvodaya Hospital Research Centre as Sr. Consultant - Centre for Advanced Cardiac Care.
Dr. Sumit Narang has performed more than 750 heart surgeries and more than 250 thoracic and vascular surgeries. He is an expert in performing Beating heart coronary artery bypass grafting, Congenital cardiac surgeries, Peripheral Angiography & Endovascular Stenting, Carotid Endartectomies, Valvular surgeries such as Double and triple valve procedures and Pericardiectomy for constrictive pericarditis.
