Dr. Nigel P Symss is one of the renowned Neurosurgeons in Chennai, India having 16 years of experience.
Dr. Symss completed his MBBS from the Bangalore Medical College in 1993 and DNB in Neurosurgery from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Neurological Surgery, VHS Medical Centre, Chennai, in 2005.
His area of interest lies in applications of functional neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, skull base surgery, brain tumors, and spinal surgery.
He has been awarded the Oi-Sami Fellowship at the Jikei University School of Medicine, Japan, where he extensively researched hydrocephalus and neuroendoscopy.
He also did a one-year spinal fellowship at the Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide where he got trained in complex spinal surgery, neuron avigation, and micro neurosurgery.
