Dr. Bhushan Nariani

Biography

Dr. Bhushan Nariani is a distinguished leader in the field of orthopaedics, renowned for his expertise in advanced knee and hip replacement surgeries. As the head of the Orthopaedic Department at the Indian Spinal Injury Centre in New Delhi, he has made valuable contributions to both clinical care and medical education.

Dr. Nariani possesses a diverse skill set, with proficiency in general trauma surgery, primary and complex arthroplasty, as well as revision arthroplasty. He is particularly recognized for his ability to manage complex and challenging cases. His commitment to advancing the field extends beyond patient care, as he actively mentors the next generation of surgeons. He has trained a large number of DNB (Diplomate of National Board) candidates and has overseen several DNB examinations.

In addition to his teaching, Dr. Nariani has contributed significantly to academic research, having authored and co-authored various publications. He also serves as a guide for DNB students’ theses, further shaping the future of orthopaedic practice. His dedication to the development of young talent is reflected in the two fellowships he currently runs, which offer specialized training to aspiring surgeons and help raise the standards of orthopaedic care.
