He is a member of Hindu Educational Society founded by his family which runs free school and college for underprivileged girls in Kaithal ,Haryana(one of the first in independent India).He is co founder of Agar Society of Rural Enterpreneurship which helps women in rural Punjab to develop vocational skills

He has been the lead surgeon to develop and establish the advanced Robotic and laparoscopic gynaeoncological and surgical oncology programme . His modification of laproscopic paraaortic lymph node dissection called the “Retroperitoneal Tent Technique” is well applauded and accepted throughout the country .He has also completed the accredition and validation of minimal access Sentinel lymph node biopsy in endometrial cancer which has translated into enhanced recovery and better outcomes in endometrial cancer.
