- He holds a vast experience of performing as many as 1500 liver transplant surgeries so far.
- Dr. Amar Deep has worked as a senior consultant at Yashoda Institute of Liver Transplantation, Hyderabad and Medanta – The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon.
- He specializes in living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation and other hepato-biliary surgeries.
- He is also trained in living donor surgeries such as dual-love, domino, swap and ABO-Incompatible liver transplant as well as liver-kidney transplant.
- He has completed his MBBS and went on to do specialization from PGIMER Chandigarh.
- In addition to this, he did a fellowship in liver transplant & hepato-biliary surgeries from Medanta Hospital, and in hepatocyte transformation from London, UK.
